And of course, we wouldn’t succeed without our great partners! Here’s some of our sporting goods industry collaborations:
FIFA PREFERRED PROVIDER
The international football association FIFA controls the properties of artificial grass fields and their testing criteria. The tests aim at offering artificial grass fields with optimal playing characteristics, for the benefit of the players. A grass quality has to pass laboratory- and field tests in order to be acknowledged by FIFA. The Saltex by Unisport grass qualities have been successfully tested according to the highest FIFA standards and several other national standards. Saltex has been part of the FIFA Quality Programme since 2002 and one of the worlds few FIFA Preferred Provider since 2011 and together with FIFA actively participates in the development of the industry. (A FIFA Preferred Provider) is a manufacturer of football turf who is an established FIFA Quality Programme Licensee and has additional expertise in civil engineering and project management necessary to support all elements required to ensure any artificial football turf installed under its banner is of the highest quality.)
Saltex, now part of the Unisport Group is also one of the founding members of ESTO (European Synthetic Turf Organisation), established in 2007. The organisation promotes the commonly agreed rules of conduct and plays an active part in the development of standards and testing methods used in the artificial grass industry, as well as facilitating dialogue between different parties.
Saltex, now part of the Unisport Group is also a member of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry.

This means, that the customer is able to dispose of old turf in an environmentally friendly way. Artificial turf consists of 6% backing, 4% fiber, 30% rubber and 60% sand.
